A lot of intros about designers state that their designs have been worn by "every celeb," and maybe for some it's even half true. But literally every celeb has worn the insanely beautiful, ornate, and unique sunglass collection A-Morir, designed by the equally beautiful, ornate, and unique designer, Kerin Rose Gold. Her impact on the fashion world is undeniable, gracing not only the faces of every fab female you love, but also the pages- and covers- of any and every fashion publication that matters. You'd think with all that talent, success, fierce personal style and shocking head of hair Kerin would be intimidating, or at least on a bit of an ego high. But from the day I met her eight years ago, to every interaction since, including this interview, this woman has been nothing but kind, humble, perky... and somehow equal parts sweetheart and badass. Read on for excellent inspiration from the epitome of a fierce female, who spent over a decade battling- and beating- an illness, all while developing and running her own fab AF company.
A-Morir designs as seen in Grazia France, Volt, and Yo Dona.

I have styled Kesha many times in the fabulous eyewear that is A-Morir by Kerin Rose, and they have become some of her most memorable looks- from the craziest to the chicest. This week I will be posting my interview with the designer, and I am so excited to share her personal and professional journey with you, as she is not only insanely talented, but hugely inspiring.
To get you jazzed to learn more about Kerin and her brand, I thought I'd do a little #tbt (throwback tues?) covering all of Kesha's best looks wearing the stunning shades.
Nickelodeon Kid's Choice Awards
Kesha wanted to take her little bro, Louie, as her date on the red carpet- how cute is that? And then, she told me she wanted to be "Dumb and Dumber" with him. Um...Oh. Naturally I obliged, but of course had to spice up your life with tons of customization, and top them both off with some serious sparlers by A-Morir.
Crazy Kids Music Video
Kesha wanted to be, well, a entirely crazy kid for this music video. It was Riff Raff meets East LA Chola and so the bamboo earring sunglasses were a no-brainer. Definitely one of her most notorious looks, but really we were just having ourselves a dang good time. #ByeHaters
Christian Siriano FW15 Fashion Show
Kesha's attendance at NYFW sparked tons of media attention for her style "Chic-over." We had so much fun and I loved having the opportunity to dress her for all the shows, often wearing the designer's collections to their shows. This was one of my favorite looks of the week, wearing a coat by LUBLU Kira Plastinina topped with a pair of way chic A-Morir sunnies.
Timo Weiland FW15 Fashion Show
If you are a retched fan and were somehow unaware that I love a head-to-toe baby pink look, first go here... then, see below for the ultimate winner in the monochromatic look. Kesha wore a Timo Weiland Skirt and Motorcycle jacket, with a Chagoury lace top, and... drum roll... A-Morir shades.
Check back later in the week for the full interview with Kerin, and exclusive pics of her being her gorgeous whacky self at home and in the studio. ♥
The idea behind my themes is to inspire you create new outfits from your already-existing wardrobe. Cause although we all love to shop, we could also all likely use a little more moolah in our pockets, and a lot more options from our closets full of nothing to wear. Amirite?
This week's theme is about combining graphic black and white prints or shapes with summery soft baby blue. I love a good juxtaposition, and in this case the sharp, edgy, contemporary feel of graphic black and white pairs perfectly with sweet, airy, classic baby blue. Give it a whirl, you may just feel like: a feminist who still believes in romance; a cool-girl full of kindness; a thick ass hamburger in a cotton candy bun. Cause, who dudn't wanna feel like a candy burger after all?

An asymmetrical black skirt is an absolutely stellar item to have in your wardrobe at all times, but I find they are extra especially great for TRAVEL. Here's the part why I tell you WHY.
Less fabric than pants ------> Packing friendly!
Matches with everything --------> Easy outfit making on the go!
Versatile -------> Wear to: Museums! City Strolling! Night on the Town! Parties!
Asymmetry makes it interesting -------> You don't have to! Lazy girls unite.
I mean can you even try to argue with me?
Here's me frolicking in NORWAY in many an asymmetrical skirt to show you just how easy it is!

Holy hell can everybody and their motha just COOL IT with the CULOTTES.
Listen. I love skinny jeans. I like how they fit, I like how they feel, I like how they look. I. Love. Skinny Jeans. Don't nobody come tell my skinny ass to "throw away my skinny jeans!" and imply that I am obligated by law / the mighty, powerful, all-judging fashion gods above to go out and purchase CULOTTES, The Season's Must Have!
If you love CULOTTES, good for you! You go ahead and wear the shit out of Spring '15's Hot Item! But if you think that CULOTTES look like high waisted cropped JNCO's (just sayin) and they aren't your flava, I promise you will survive SS15 without them. I PROMISE.
So many people have asked me if they "need to" buy and wear culottes. You don't need to do jack shoot-a-lee-doot, and I think when people feel obligated to follow any trend is when they often look their worst and least fashionable. (You feel uncomfortable --------> you look uncomfortable). Think of it in terms of any other genre. Let's take the health world, for example. It's all about greek yogurt! Greek Yogurt! I do indeed happen to love greek yogurt. But, if you are lactose intolerant, are you gonna blindly hop on board the greek yogurt train? Of course not. How about the beauty world? The fleekiness of one's eyebrows are of utmost priority in the year 2015. Does that mean everyone looks good (or even sane) doing their best Cara D? Absolutely not. Likewise with fashion, you should know your body, taste, and aesthetic, and never feel a trend is a requirement to "keep up."
And so may I suggest to you, instead of shopping a tricky trend that will barely last the year, invest in a classic that will take you everywhere for seasons to come. If one's closet is lucky enough to have a great fitting pair of black, white, and blue denim skinnys, one's closet is lucky enough.
I for one plan to be wearing skinny jeans for years to come. But if a flare is most flattering for you, or a high waisted cropped pair, or whatever it may be, go with that! When you wear something because you feel comfortable and good, you're likely to look comfortable and good. It is really that simple. Despite what every other JNCO-pushing fashion source will try to tell you. #noshade ♥

I love shorts. I love them with my whole heart and I have since I was little (ah, the Umbro days of yesteryear). I also love being lazy and comfy, but now that I'm supposed to be an adult I don't always want to be advertising it. Enter: Leather Shorts. Simultaneously satisfying my passion for tiny inseams, comfort, and ease, all with a polished appearance and cool-girl vibes.
Invest in a pair for summer, and I promise you will not only love them all season, but also wear them for years to come for all kinds of warm weather occasions. They work just as well with a collared shirt as they do with a tee, and are complimented by just about any kind of jacket you can think of ... as long as its not leather. Because, come on people.
