There is no clothing item I love more than a Motorcycle Jacket. In fact, they are some of my most trusted friends. There for me no matter what, giving me a shoulder to lean...into, and complimenting my figure even when I feel foul. (It's really wonderful that I'm using compliment/ complement as a double entendre here because at 30 I still don't know which is witch).
SRSLY these son-of-a-guns are my forever go-to. Edgy and tough, yet classic, clean and tailored. I love them with jeans, dresses, jumpsuits, skirts, shorts... literally with everything. They're a no-brainer babies.
Experiment with colors, textures, fabrics, prints... BUT! Keep the shape super classic- and don't zip that shit up. Wear it open, or hung over your shoulders.
If you've got a grand to burn (you lucky little dog, you), there are so many to choose from. If you're looking to spend under $500 (like all of mine) you've still got options, but hunting becomes a more skilled pursuit. Check out my faves below in a range of prices and styles! And then go meet (buy) your new best friends ♥
I am currently reading Middlesex, the Pulitzer Prize winning novel by Jeffrey Eugenides. The writing is as impossibly thick and beautiful as Beyoncé's thighs- and just as hard to take you eyes off of.
Don't you think I'm smart and fancy?
But you know what? Before this I read a Jodi Piccoult book - the literary equivalent of a lifetime movie- and I. Ate. That. Shit. Up. #todaysrealness
I love florals. But I'm far from a girlie girl. How, you ask? Well, I happen to be here to tell you.
It is both incredibly easy (fact) and supremely hip (fact according to me) to mix your florals with super sporty elements, like sneaks, pants, hoodies, hats, menswear or anything work-out inspired. It's such a simple formula you almost can't mess it up!!! Unless you are unable to grasp the concept of editorial and you hit the club with wild flowers comin out yo socks #donttrythisathome.

I'M SO GOOD.
I make a fresh, organic (duh) fruit and vegetable juice every morning for breakfast.
BUT, what this photo doesn't tell you is that every night since my birthday (17 days but who's counting), I have a giant slice of Ice Cream Cake for dessert.
My point is, social media can present an image of perfection that seems unattainable, or a lifestyle to which your's could never compare, but it's often only the half truth. I ain't calling instagram a liar or nothin, but she tends to withhold some relevant information.
So I am here to say:
Yes, I make organic fruit + veggies juice most (weekday) mornings.
No, it doesn't look like this before I make it, and I spent about 25 minutes rearranging roll-prone carrots and uncooperative kale in various lighting to make my breakfast picture perfect. (Cool use of time?)
Yes, I have long skinny legs, but that's a result of good genes (thanks, pops) and not because I have more will power or stronger self-discipline than anyone else.
No, it ain't nothin but a G thang, baby.
